Thanks so much, Rob, for posting the Saratoga pic. I was at that show (on the lawn) and I saw that she had a hot outfit on (probably for her too temp wise) but I have no pics from that concert. quarterflash opened for her that night. eddiejinfl

The photo of Linda and Gloria Boyce is not Motown 25 Pasadena. Linda is wearing a dress I styled from What’s New probably Radio City Music Hall 1983. Gloria is just wearing the Motown vip Pass The photographer is Ron Galeo a NY paparazzi.
Hi Genevieve: The photographer you mention is Ron Galella. Just wanted to make sure we got his name right. Linda looked great in that dress you designed. It really showed off her figure. I saw Linda in Atlantic City, NJ at the Sands Hotel "Copa Room" for her "What's New" tour. Why would Gloria wear a Motown pass to another event? Just wanted your thoughts. The background in pics does not appear to be Radio City to me unless it is a back entrance. Her hair would not look like that if she was coming out of Motown show IMO. What a mystery!!!!! eddiejinfl

Hi Thank you. Sorry I didn't get this reply. I of course was in Atlantic City for that. She had a different look for Motown 25. I dressed her for Smokey Robinson Revue. That was later. I met her in April 1983. Gloria probably liked the pass because it had her name on it! That was Gloria! RIP. She was an awesome person who worked in Peter Asher's office.
Also found info of her performing at the Ventura County Fair Oct 6th 1983. Anyone know more details about this?
Hello, guest John A --
I saw Linda with Nelson Riddle and orchestra on Sept. 25 at Radio City Music Hall -- the first night they performed this material live before an audience -- and in such a huge venue.
A friend saw Linda perform the "What's New?" concert at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, an outdoor venue, shortly thereafter. I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that Linda might have done other outdoor dates around Central / Southern California around that same time of the "What's New?" material. My best guess.
7/15- Shea's - Buffalo, NY 7/16 - Civic Center, Erie, PA 7/21 - Coliseum - New Haven, CT (moved to Bushnell Memorial Hall, Connecticut guitarist Preston Reed opened, per the July 23 Hartford Courant) 7/22 - Boston Commons - Boston, MA (opener was Livingston Taylor, per the July 23 Boston Globe)
Did anyone here attend the show below? Trying to figure out whether or not Quarterflash opened that one:
