There's a way for Kanye to get publications (White or otherwise) to stop writing about him--and that's for him to just shut the f**k up! But as he has proven incapable of doing so, they won't.

Erik.. Kanye is upset because Pitchfork didn't give him 10 out of 10 stars for his new album release
West, who at one point claimed this album would be the best of all time, was not happy that these publications did not give him a perfect score. Pitchfork gave him a 9 out of 10 -- their best score in nearly half a year -- but this wasn't enough for "TLOP" in West's mind.
And so he tweeted: Pitchfork, the album is a 30 out of 10 2:53 PM - 15 Feb 2016
Then, after letting that rack up retweets and hearts for about half an hour, West decided to go after "white" publications that try to review "black music."
To Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and any other white publication. Please do not comment on black music anymore. 3:27 PM - 15 Feb 2016
then he continued
I love love love white people but you don't understand what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves and make it this far. 3:27 PM - 15 Feb 2016
To me he's the Donald Trump of music.

It would be best if ALL publications would stop writing about him, no matter if the're black, white, pink, yellow, purple, red, blue, red or green.

Truth be told I honestly don't have any clue whatsoever if he's any good or not. Rap fans consider him one of the greats, or even THE greatest one of all of them. But I "don't get" rap and if those in the know about the genre would play me one great rap album and one awful one without telling me which was what I wouldn't be able to hear the difference myself. That's not to say that the difference in quality isn't there, but I just don't hear it. I guess that it's safe to say that rap is just not my thing. Perhaps I'm indeed "too white." Even so I love "black music" - soul, funk, afrobeat, blues, reggae, etc. But rap is the big exception.

Hi Jhar26, I'm not a big fan of rap music either.... but there are some rap artists and songs I do like and you can pretty much tell who's gifted/talented and who isn't... IMO Eminem is a very gifted writer and rapper. so is Snoop Dogg IMO. also they both have a pleasant sound/tone/voice .. Since I am not "in the know" of the current rappers I ask my 21 yr old niece and she has agreed with the 2 I mentioned. Kanye West is not that great of a writer nor are his lyrics/rhymes clever IMo and his voice sucks. very out of tune off pitch . all over the place bad.! Very over rated
kanye sings w/o autotune

The way some are talking about it you would think that he has just created the rap equivalent of a Sgt Peppers or a Dark Side of the Moon.

Mozart is supposed to have said, "I'm not the only composer out there. But I am the best." Kanye West is no Mozart. In fact, he's not even anywhere close to being a Salieri.

Quote by jhar26 re. Kanye/Salieri/Mozart: No, and actually Kanye makes Salieri seem like Mozart (IMHO). Indeed. Salieri wasn't as awful as mythology has made him out to be. He was no Mozart or Haydn of course, but his music was perfectly decent. That's a whole lot more than we can say about Kanye's juvenile sexist crap.

Never mind the composers... even Rob's Kermit has a better voice than Kanye. He truly is the Donald Trump of the music industry.

Kanye West 'offers to pay artist to remove mural of star kissing himself'Scott Marsh has revealed he was offered a "pretty decent chunk of money" to paint over the wall By Jonathan Pearlman, Sydney 30 March 2016 An Australian artist who painted a street mural of Kanye West passionately kissing Kanye West says he was urged by the singer’s management to paint over it and will do so for £69,000 [$US100,000]. The 20-foot painting, completed earlier this month, is based on a photoshopped image of West –who has likened himself to God and Shakespeare - embracing his wife Kim Kardashian on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards. Scott Marsh, the artist, posted an image of the mural alongside the hashtag kanyeloveskanye, noting: “Because we all know that Kanye Loves Kanye”. Marsh has revealed he was contacted via email by a person claiming to be from the American hip hop artist’s management, who offered a "pretty decent chunk of money" to paint over the wall. In return, Marsh requested a six-figure payment and a lifetime supply of West's signature brand of sneakers. He has since released a print of the mural and has given West two weeks to buy one for £69,000 [$US100,000]. "I'm offering an oversized print which has been painted over for $US100,000," Marsh told ABC Radio. "It's an open invitation to Kanye. If he buys that print then I'll paint over the mural." Marsh has admitted he was not convinced that the email from West’s management was genuine. The image of West embracing West, in the inner-city Sydney suburb of Chippendale, has made international headlines and was designed to sit opposite a large mural by a different artist which shows Kardashian naked. The City of Sydney has ordered the owner of an adjoining bar to remove the mural after a complaint by a local resident. The Telegraph has approached West's management for comment.
