When I've checked the lyrics to this song on the internet the sites all say "Here right now, near or far" but I wondered if Linda was singing "Here and now"? - I know this may seem petty but I'm listening and learning thoroughly to each album and I thought somebody on this board would know for definite ?

I haven't listened to that song in a long time, but I think she says "here and now." Sorry, but I really dislike that song.

I sang the song out loud before I opened this thread and I instinctively sang "here and now, near or far they gonna talk cause that's how people are". I think it a fun song. eddiejinnj

I like the song, too. Linda gives a rollicking, gusty performance. My only complaint is the sax, an instrument I'm not especially fond of.
I've always heard "here and now, near or far" which makes more syntactical sense than does "here right now, near or far."
