A post on Kosh's Facebook page: "Kosh is hard at work on a new Linda Ronstadt project. While we await this new project let's take a look back: The picture top left is Kosh with the amazing photographer (now famous videographer) Jim Shea as we plan the Living In The USA [1978] album cover shoot for Linda on the Venice boardwalk. The next shot shows Kosh and Linda on the walk - Jim is in the camera car and Kosh would be out of frame. The picture disc on the turntable, the album cover and billboard on Sunset Strip show the results of an wonderful session with an even more wonderful artist - the fantastic Linda Ronstadt." The post also includes some cool behind the scenes pictures. And I'm so curious to know what this new project could be! Here's a link to his Facebook page: www.facebook.com/koshart

Although I was grossly underwhelmed with the Duets cover .... Boring boring tired photo that's been around for many years, typeface and colours .... No no no. New Trio deserves much better

Too bad Linda was ever on roller skates other than to take a photo. That is when she hurt her back quite badly causing chronic problems to this day as she stated in an interview I recently heard.

Cute pix of Linda on roller skates. It is too bad that she took that tumble on her back, though. Linda inspired me to get roller skates…and Frye boots!

I like the front cover to the Duets album. Dedicated To The One I Love is the only album cover I dislike, I think the picture of Linda inside is beautiful and it's a shame that wasn't used as the cover, that baby picture could have been used inside. I also feel similar about the A Merry Little Christmas album, I don't dislike the front cover to that album but I think the picture of Linda inside would have been nicer, I didn't notice until a few weeks ago that that picture is actually on the front cover in a picture frame. I am a new fan so it's not like I went decades without seeing that! Ha ha

yes, there is that pic of her on the mantle. good eye Damien. Love the Porky Pig pic. Since it was used as an inner sleeve pic, not as many people would know it vs an old cover photo. Plus it had the microphone so prominently in it which I think was fitting for the "Duets" cover. eddiejinnj

Too bad Linda was ever on roller skates other than to take a photo. That is when she hurt her back quite badly causing chronic problems to this day as she stated in an interview I recently heard. In her Simple Dreams book, Linda attributes her back problems to falling down the Capitol Theatre's stairs & then her roller skating accident which was caused by losing her balance at the shock of talking to Leslie Van Houten, when Van Houten was out on bail, and confessed to murder to Linda & Nicolette Larson who were out skating together. There is a concert series where Linda had to sit and sing, rather than stand, due to her back.

I wasn't able to find the name of the model on the ' Round Midnight box cover but in searching, I stumbled on this comprehensive Kosh cover art site. rateyourmusic.com/list/misterteeth/cover-art-by-kosh/3/ ( Round Midnight is #299). According to the creator of the list (which Kosh reviewed): "The cover image of this deluxe box set imitates the cover of an album of the same name (see: 'Round Midnight) released by the Anita Kerr Singers in 1972." The photographer of Linda's cover was Mark Hanauer. I guess I see it, sort of.

Would love to know who the male model is on the Round Midnight cover. Linda would put friends with her in romantic music videos. During this time Danny Kortchmar was often used as, or Rex Smith or Jim Carrey.

All I see similar is the head tilt and Linda is about the same place on cover as on the other. Seeing the "Round Midnight" cover again makes me like it even more. eddiejinnj

The lighting on the "Round Midnight" set reminds me of photos by George Hurrell, the great photographer of movie stars like Jean Harlow, Joan Crawford, etc. I love the expression on Linda's face.

This quote from Kosh about Linda is still noteworthy:
All these years later, Kosh is asked about his longtime friend. “She’s the most fascinating woman, along with my late wives, that I’ve ever known.
