Is there anything more we can buy of Linda's? Can we save any money buying it on Amazon Prime Day if we do?

I think it's very safe to say that we will never see another artist as gifted or as versatile as Linda. Or someone who will have the longevity that Linda had and be able to do it at such a high level of success for so many years. Happy 69th Birthday Linda! You're simply the best! Love you!

I don't think that there's necessarily a lack of talent these days. But they usually either fall through the cracks or are guided/forced into a direction where whatever talent they have isn't allowed to prosper. And I don't think that the current vibe in the world with ever more uniformity and less individuality is likely to produce much great art either, be it popular or high end.

Happy birthday to my #1 artistic obsession. (#2 is Sir Alfred Hitchcock.)
You will never know how much pleasure you have given us and how grateful we are that you are with us still.
A class act all the way.

Happy 69th, Linda. What a life you have lived and I've no doubt that you wouldn't have wished for a different life, a different road to the one you lived. Not even with the Parkinson's and other illnesses you've been dealt in your golden years. No one should ever have to deal with as many health issues as you have in recent years but you have held your head high and your spirit has been defiant in the fight. Your music still touches lives, from your first recordings in the 60s to the last recording in 2006. You didn't think much of yourself as a singer or your songs but sweetheart, you were the best female vocalist of the 20th Century and still are to this day. No other female artist has come along who could challenge your musical integrity or the genres of music you covered. Rock, country, Broadway, pop, standards, Mexican, folk, soul. Really, you covered it all.
In the world of music, you were unique among your peers. You disdained being called the Queen of Country Rock or Queen of Rock but really, you were the female version of Elvis and the title was apt. Other female performers in the rock and country genres tried to claim that they were the female Elvis, but all those pretenders, much like the pretenders to Elvis's title, came up far short of the goods in laying claim to the title. Your humility, down to earth personality and absence of big ego makes you even more unique in the entertainment world where big, huge egos are the norm. You remained friends with almost all the people whose lives crossed path with yours. That was remarkable. I wish I could've been a friend of yours.
And so you are 69 today, the end of your 60s with your 70s awaiting you. May that decade of your life be an easy time for you. And may you be at peace in your soul and contented with your children and what you have accomplished with them. And what you have accomplished in life, including the rock and roll you dislike. Singing the standards, Broadway and the Mexican tunes didn't make you a better singer. You were the greatest from the beginning.
Enjoy your very special day and indulge yourself today. And may God bless you. Yours, in love...

And may God bless you. Yours, in love... That was just wonderful! I couldn't have said it much better than that.......and I'm a writer! I can't really say much more than what you said, because you pretty much covered it all. I will say this.......I am just so thankful and feel so very fortunate that I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Linda for an hour on the phone when I interviewed her for my story back in May. I have to say that it was a very unique experience talking to her, mostly because it was more like a conversation than an interview. At one point near the end I almost forgot that I was conducting an interview. It probably went a little too long, and she told me she had to leave. But she was just so down-to-earth, so sweet and so kind. Linda has always been the most beautiful woman to me, but she is an even more beautiful person. And I know firsthand from talking with her. Although meeting her would be even better. I'm still hoping that someday soon I will have that opportunity as well. I hope you had a wonderful birthday Linda, and that you were able to enjoy it with your loving family and friends. I know you will have many, many more. God bless you. Love, Jason
