well,I have a little time so I will try this:
(in preparing for this went to lostfm and they had a vid of "just a little bit of rain". it seemed slowed down just a tad which makes Linda sound very deep and funny in especially in the beginning. hope other vids aren't like this. Wikipedia said that the first single was "sweet summer blue and gold" b/w "all the beautiful things". I thought that "just" was not only a single but their first. if it was not the first imo it was definitely a single. am I right or wrong. I could be wrong but if right, Wikipedia should be updated)

I think I would stay with the picks I first chose. They seem to have held up for me quite nicely. I do have an almost tie with Just One Look and Back In The USA but that's about it. Lots and Lots of close seconds. I guess that is why Linda was a better album artist than a singles artist which in the long run is much better.

I have always argued that Linda was the first female artist in any genre of American popular music whose career can be measured in terms of her complete albums as much as (if indeed not more so than) her hit singles. Since her career began when the age of the album as the prime rock and roll medium came into being, the late 1960s, it is only right and proper to point it out (IMHO).

Hey, Joe & Eddie. Glad to see your choices of Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues from We Ran. I think she did an awesome version of that song. The verse about her "best friend, the doctor" just slays me.

To my ear, her version of that song is a Ronstadt classic.
