oh wow. I assume Aunt Suzy is Linda's sister. Does anyone know how old she was? I know she was older than Linda. RIP Suzy.. Poor Linda. My condolences to the family.

RIP. A rare picture of her was posted HERE a year ago. In searching, I found her name at present seems to be Gretchen Ronstadt Jacome. I also found a son of hers, Robert, 37, had died in 1995.

Didn't Linda in her book say that her parents had Suzy and Peter at the beginning of the war? I guess that could mean anywhere from 1939 to 1942.

Suzy's death, if true, might mean that the Wednesday appearance could be cancelled. Time to cancel the hotel...

I believe her name is Suzy O'Brien now. There are several Suzy, Susans in the Ronstadt family including the one Jimmy Webb wrote so many songs about. Don't want to jump the gun yet.

Perhaps we should designate a nearby bar/restaurant to congregate and socialize before Weds. event. Anyone familiar with the area who can make a suggestion?

Market Street Mall (where the Grand Opera House is) has lots of restaurants & breweries, & fast food. I'm not certain if I'm able to meet up beforehand because I'm not sure when my guests will be arriving. For those wanting to meet up, I'd suggest a pizzeria called DiMeo's. (Full name DiMeo's Pizzaiuoli Napulitani), which is at 831 North Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 (phone 302-655-1427). I'd propose 6 pm for meeting & hanging out. www.dimeospizza.com/There's also a Qdoba and a local coffeehouse called Brew Ha Ha if a sitdown dinner isn't what anybody had in mind or can do. Brew Ha Ha is 835 N Market Street, serves coffees, teas, sandwiches & desserts.

Jason just interviewed Linda last week.

Are we getting non-binding commitments from members for this, or any other place? I would like a drink or two, the food is secondary.

Very sorry for her death but more importantly very happy for her life.
I would love for an interviewer to explore Linda's view of life and death. I think her beliefs are atypical and extraordinary and it would be fascinating to learn about. I expect Linda to leave this planet in 2021 at the ripe old age of 75. Lots more living to do.

Let's hope there is more than 7 years left in that lady.
