Just came across this on iTunes. Appears to be a live recording from the Western Wall tour.

It does include the legendary guest appearance of Phoebe Snow on "Bring It on Home to Me" that some lucky members who were there at the Keswick Theatre near Philadelphia in 1999 have talked about.
Overall consensus is great show, sub-par boot recording, but maybe it's better than the boot that circulated a few years back. It does have a release date of 2005, so it's no doubt the same recording, but perhaps spruced up a bit?

I will check it out; I was one of the lucky people at the Keswick Theater... BTW I also recall a pretty Chinese restaurant next to the theater

Phoebe performed with them a few days earlier at the Beacon in NY also. I was at both these shows.

If I recall correctly (!), the bootleg that has been around was recorded at the Beacon, not the Keswick. So maybe a different recording?

Richard, the bootleg that I have of this had Phoebe on it AND says that it was at the Keswick. Of course, the bootleg could be wrong. Am trying to remember the source -- if i downloaded from a source someone provided here on the Forum or some other place. My recollection of what I have is that the sound quality is "sub-par," as you say.

Just checked my files, Rick. The one I have -- with a slightly different track list -- is from the Warfield Theatre, San Francisco, September 1999.

This definite unauthorized live recording on iTunes simply called On The Road (Live) is credited to Emmy Lou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. It was certainly recorded by an audience member and is OK for occasional or one-time listening. Yes, that special trio of Harris, Ronstadt, and Phoebe Snow does perform "Bring It On Home To Me" (track #31 of 32), which you can hear for free here. I have the superior soundboard recording during the same tour at the Warfield Theater, SF (9-10-99), which is also 32 songs, mainly the same, including two supposedly at a soundcheck - "Blue Bayou" and "When We Ran."
