Any fans here of Arrested Development? I loved the original series but have not watched any of the new season.
The reason I ask is because I saw a post on twitter that said there was a mention of Linda Ronstadt in one of the new episodes. After seven years being gone, and being too busy to care, I don't have a lot of interest in the new series, but I would probably check out the LR mention.

the show has been gone seven years? that is the one with Jessica Walter rt? I just remember awards shows where it won awards. is it 7 yrs gone or seven of these short so called seasons they have now? t.v. seasons used to start like labor day or when school was open again and ran to like june like school with reruns in the summer. I labor this because if this is seven yrs man time just goes. would like to see the linda mention myself. watched parts of the show in the past but it was a bit too quirky for me but it was a well received reviewed show. eddiejinnj

It's a very smart and funny show, Tony, but one that I can only take an episode or two of at a time; its attention-deficit style of episodic storytelling kinda works my nerves if they're exposed to more than that at a stretch.
Haven't seen mention of Linda in the new series which, BTW, is available for instant viewing on Netflix (which produces it).
Jessica Walter is so funny on that show.

I've watched the Fourth Season, her name is mentioned, but honestly that's it. Buster (or maybe Tobias) compares something to "a chubby Linda Ronstadt" (I think). As much as I love the first three seasons of the show, I enjoyed this one, but haven't re-watched it yet, so I couldn't even tell you what episode it's in.

Heard so much about this show, but never saw one episode (this should be no surprise to anyone that knows me for I do not watch any of the shows of today, aside from Hawaii Five-O. I think the last one I followed faithfully was Cheers. Yet I digress...) But I do know that its devoted fans were the ones that made netflix bring this show back from...let's just say, an extended hiatus.
I think the only reason I would watch this would be because of Jessica Walters. To me she is still one fine looking woman. Always dug her.

"a post on twitter that said there was a mention of Linda Ronstadt in one of the new episodes"
probably confused her with liza minnelli! It's Twitter.
