For the record, Kate has been around for quite a while, though she is still young; and I think that her love of Linda is truly genuine; it's not something that just came about because of the song's appearance in The Last Of Us.

I'm not a great one for chasing up cover versions, but ...going off piste (as I usually do) ...I'd like to hear Peter Jones tackle Long Long Time...this is his amazing cover of More Fool Me by Genesis, his talent is just phenomenal, all things considered. The reason I'd like to hear him do it is because, for me, cover versions need a new slant on a song to make it valid. He'd do it.

Just two months before everything shut down, alt-country/Americana artist Alice Wallace put her spin on "Long Long Time". This performance was done in Atlanta on January 20, 2020:
In addition to her own career, Alice is involved in Side Pony, an alt-country duo with Caitlin Cannon; and they have been known to be occasionally augmented by one Britt Ronstadt (Linda's second cousin).
