In the Victoria photo she is wearing a watch on her left wrist. In the Linda photo there is no watch to be found that I can see. And Victoria's head doesn't seem well fitted for the neck in the photo. There is something very odd about that. And who is that hiding in the grassy knoll in the background? I think someone is playing with us. We are being gaslighted. I would like to see the color version of the Victoria photo.

And why do the photos of Linda have her holding a plastic spoon but the one in question where is the spoon? New head, new mouth, new teeth, neck issues, new watch and no spoon? And Linda's top appears to be tucked in but not Victoria's. Even her blouse top button is visible but not visible in Linda's photos. But above all, look at Victoria's head/neck connection.

"And why do the photos of Linda have her holding a plastic spoon but the one in question where is the spoon?"
The reason "Linda" has the spoon in her mouth is so she can have a reason to lean forward and down. VP is 5' 6", Linda in comfortable heels would probably be around 5'4 1/2" to 5'5". VP has to look shorter. The spoon accomplishes that. The tight jacket over loose blouse and dress also makes VP seem shorter. The spoon also hides her smile. The smile in the VP picture hints that it is VP. The straight on picture with the spoon in her hand shows the same watch as the VP picture. The hair on the neck doesn't show signs of a paste job or being photoshopped. The hair is too fine. The glasses are very interesting. VP has a small mole on her left cheek right where the frames are. The sunglasses frames plus makeup hide the small mole. The button also appears in the straight on picture.
As to why? Who knows. Maybe a bet. Maybe to throw the press off because Gov. Brown was dating VP. Idk. I'm not even sure if Brown was at the Tribute.

I read somewhere that Linda mostly went out of her way to not be photographed with Jerry Brown. Same thing with George Lucas. I believe Brown was supposed to be at the Simon event.

I heard he was at the Simon event too. I just haven't seen any pictures of him at the Simon event. There were pictures of a lot of other famous people there, but not Brown. But that doesn't mean he wasn't there.

I'd like one of those checks signed by Linda , of course. I have one or two signed checks of hers. One is framed with that huge 2'x 3' pic I have of Linda from a closed LA gallery (the photographer had passed, I believe). If I am wrong forgive me. I think the one photo is Linda not VP. eddiejinnj

My comments on the right wrist of the LR/VP Simon event pictures. On the right side of the right wrist (left side on the left wrist) there is a protruding bone at the Ulnacarpal Joint. On Linda this protrusion is more pronounced than on Victoria Principal. This difference is on all the Simon event pictures where you can see this part of her wrist. I have always thought Linda was double jointed (not that this is the only reason for this pronounced protrusion). It looks like Linda might be double jointed on the "Lies/Tell Him" video ("Tell Him" part). It's in how she is pointing her finger in the video. The way she is pointing her finger reminds me of my sister who is double jointed (in fact Linda has similarities of both my sisters). This right wrist difference is the main reason I think it is Victoria Principal in the Simon event pictures. All the other reasons discussed add this conclusion. This is just my opinion.

Quote by heartbreaker:
I think it was in her memoir that Linda first knew about Riddle from his arrangements for Frank Sinatra on his 1958 album Only The Lonely, as well as his arrangements for Rosemary Clooney, among others. Riddle also found very good work on films, including OCEAN'S 11 in 1960; LOLITA (for Stanley Kubrick) in 1962; the 1966 Howard Hawks-directed Western EL DORADO (filmed out near Tucson, incidentally); and adapting 1920's period music for the 1974 adaptation of THE GREAT GATSBY.

Nelson Riddle also did the theme music for the TV Show Route 66.

At first glance, I thought it said 11 W. 81st Street which would be Linda's address in NY when she was in Pirates.

Linda always had a nice round face.

It’s not Victoria Principal, that is Linda for sure. Just look at the hands, Linda has large hands for her size and they are very distinctive. I can tell it’s her without even looking at the hands but if you doubt it, the hands are a dead giveaway. I've never noticed Linda's hands being especially large. For a woman who was 5'2" tall, I thought Linda's hands were likely size proportionate to her height. Very small. Need to go back and look at some of the photos where Linda's hands can be clearly seen.

Just taking a brief off topic here from the photos: Linda not liking her music seemed to go all the way back to her Stone Poneys days. I always thought she did fine. And while she seemed unsure of her vocals on some of the songs, that unsuredness only added to Linda's talent as a vocalist. It did not detract from her vocals in any way. Her managers needed to build up her confidence, which I wonder if any of them did?

Maybe her dislike was for what she had to sing before, as much as being on her own. PoP, Riddle, Canciones & most after were her own choices, not studio. So she is slamming what was almost forced on her, perhaps through undermining herself as she does. Peter Asher was an Asylum employee, & her others, before & after were studio/label agents too. While they may have helped Linda's career overall, they also wanted to keep their own jobs, & get more. Watching TSOMV, Asher & the others irked me by being either appearing patronising or trite. Linda's aversion to documentaries about her is understandable I feel.
