It was all too staggering to watch, and to know how many great people we lost in 2020, particularly those who succumbed to SARS-COVID 19. They are a constant reminder of the words of our 35th president John F. Kennedy: "For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal."

The last part of Neil Diamond's song Done Too Soon came to mind when I watched the NBC video:
And each one lived, As one thing shared. They have sweated beneath the same sun, Looked up and wondered at the same moon. And wept when it was all done, For being done too soon. For being done.
I'm glas NBC did their little tribute as there were some notables I didn't know had died during the year. Sometimes it's easy to miss the news of those who were part of your lives or those you knew of, who have crossed over to the other side. Lot of good people and souls to be mourned in their passing. So, thanks for finding and posting that video, Rick.
