Love all the pics. Never saw the last two before. Cool to see her in another shot from Frenesi shoot. The Jim Shea photo is just slightly different than the most common still of the shoot. This one you found, Erik, is the best imo. The first photo in caption below says Kristofferson opened for her. eddiejinnj

On June 23, 1970, and for the next five nights, Kristofferson took the stage with his acoustic guitar and his trademark ragged voice and sang his heart out. Among those who showed up to listen were Barbra Streisand, John Lennon, and director Sam Peckinpah, who in a couple of years would cast him as Billy the Kid. Linda Ronstadt was there, too—she was the headliner. For Kristofferson, then 34, things would never be the same.

Love the painting above. My friend who is an artist did a great painting of Linda for me sorta based on the Jim Shea session pic'd above. It has his originality/style to it. I treasure it. It came out gorgeous. The pic above the painting is probably circa 1973 as it is the same blouse she wore on the Cat Steven's Special. eddiejiinj

I think the painting above is more from the 1977 era, as in Cub Scout era. Look at the shirt she has on. The sleeve buttons are undone, and the shirt is blue. That is the way she wore the Cub Scout shirt with the sleeves buttons undone. also she has a red yellowish looking thing around her neck. I think that is supposed to be the Cub Scout handkerchief/scarf thing that goes with the outfit and the handkerchief/scarf came out looking more red than yellow. Besides the hair is more first leg of the Simple Dreams Tour than Hasten Down The Wind frizz era. She never had worn the Cub Scout uniform in 1976. That didn’t come along until the beginning of the Simple Dreams Tour in 1977, just sayin’…
