I noticed that Stuart Webster has several photos of Linda on his IG. He's obviously a big fan!

I watched this on Youtube several times. It seemed like Linda was giving the song as much of a push as she could muster. And although she disavows and dislikes the song today, I think in 1971 when she 25 was another story. I've wondered whether her dislike of the song now had to do with the fact it wasn't a hit? I once heard a singer-songwriter-musician refer to the songs he wrote as being like one of his kids, but his preference seem to be for his "kids" that were hits. The songs that were not hits were sent to the attic to never be brought out to be heard again. I liked this song and wish it could've been a hit for Linda, but think it wasn't a good follow up for "Long, Long Time." Linda's forte seemed to be the ballads and maybe that's what she should've gone with.

They deserve the Star on the Walk of Fame. Did they ever get it? Still a mystery of what happened especially since they were saying Dolly would have 2 stars and such. Anybody know? Thanks Rick for posting. eddiejinnj

The artwork of Linda is excellent. Thanks for looking into the WOF, Erik. We have discusses that the star costs the nominating people what, 20K or something like that. Unless they received a refund, it just is so weird considering the decent amount of press on this in a number of articles. eddiejinnj

How are things? thanks for askin Eddie...feeling very good about the vocals...now transitioning to start re recording my neo soul deep house originals I never got "out there" cuz of the vocal injuries and to get a new online service going;
I've got a bunch of sound healing instruments that I'm going be looping with customized vocals for personalized tik tok type astrological transit healings!!
how Wild is that?? hahah, Well, YOU asked!!
seriously....between still waiting on my whistleblower stuff with the govt, being a caregiver for an ambulatory person, and being paranoid about working "out there" again doing DJ/sound stuff and office stuff
....this is where I've ended up!!
That said, this past year and the year before that, I really really did alot of good healing work via sacral cranial healing/vagus nerve healing, I thought it was just my orthodontic headgear injury on my jaw, it was also a swimming pool accident on my lower back from eons ago
Cheers!

Great idea to put those two photos together. The look on both faces says it all to me. I really would like to know what Trisha was thinking sitting there so close to Linda and talking. eddiejinfl

Quote by eddiejinnj:
Well Trisha did say in the IG caption that she was telling Linda it was "really hard to do a Linda Ronstadt song in front of Linda Ronstadt"; but they probably talked a great deal about their own lives and methodologies for singing (this was at the Kennedy Center Honors in December 2019).

I never saw her do "roll 'um easy" live since my first concert was in 1980. My m8 saw many concerts there (Capitol Theater, Pasaaic) since he was originally from the Rahway area. RobA, did you ever go to the Capitol Theater? eddiejinfl

I should take a picture of a painting an artist friend of mine did of Linda that is superb. It is taken from one of the photo sessions I believe by Jim Shea where her hair is up and has a sleeveless shirt on. The photo or variants of it have made a few more recent album covers including I think "The Best of" album. eddiejinfl
