Excellent, Christine and thanks!!! The original intent if I am correct was to make a page out of each thread and we were up to 16 then the next page was never started. Erik, your avatar and pics are not showing up for me. eddiejinnj

Eddie, you may want to try to refresh the page on your computer if that helps.

No maybe a setting of yours um it just weird that the only avatar I don't see is yours. I not sure!!! eddiejinnj I am having the same problem. To see the photos of Linda and Emmylou, I have to copy and paste the URL into a new tab. I tried to create a message with the pictures, but the result was the same as what I am seeing in Erik's post.

i.pinimg.com/236x/f0/f8/cc/f0f8cc13e405eed682758accb4f3d1c6--linda-ronstadt-love-her.jpg Says early Capitol pubicity photo. Is this one of the 3 dresses she describes having? The only place I can remember where it looks like she is wearing something like it is in that photo with the newspaper in her lap open and she appears distressed. Could be wrong on that. Have to check that out. I couldn't get pic to upload on here but link works. I don't recall the dress especially the way the sleeves are embellished. eddiejinnj eddiejinnj

Great "No Nukes" post. I haven't seen a photo of Linda at a 1979 rally before. I don't think that she performed at any MUSE rallies that year so photos are rare (she did relatively few shows in 1979 compared with 1978 ("Living in the USA" tour) or 1980 ("Mad Love" tour)--no new album to tour behind in 1979 so more or less a year off, according to her Playboy interview). This might be at one of the September 1979 New York City shows (Madison Square Garden or Battery Park).

Linda at a No Nukes rally in 1979, following the Three Mile Island accident: Was it taken at the Three Mile Island Protest Concert held at the State Capitol, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 29 March 1980?

Not sure of the exact date here, but this is likely from the mid-1970s: Linda in semi-hippie mode (likely from her first visit to London in 1971): This one is likely from her visit to Holland in 1976: A very young Linda, growing up in the extreme heat of the Sonoran Desert:

I don't think Linda was at any of the September 1979 NYC shows. She left for her trip to Africa with Jerry Brown on 4/6/79, so it's possible the photo was taken at one of the Three Mile Island rallies that took place the week before in March 1979. That would also explain the sweater attire.

The unknown pic was probably 90's. Linda's sharp wedge was growing out and not as long as pics of her in '95. So it is probably early 1994. eddiejinnj

I agree with Eddie, 1994-95--this was the photo in the NY Times article "At Lunch With Linda Ronstadt--And This Is What 48 Looks Like" by Stephen Holden, April 19, 1995, right after the "Feels Like Home" album was released:
