The download was a piece of cake. All I had to do was go to the download site and enter the redemption code number on the card. The download consisted of 3 files, one a "poster" from the album cover (27 x 41 inches), the other two mp4 files. The first mp4 file is timed at 56:23 and is, I assume, the entire concert as broadcast.
The mystery right now is the second mp4 file. It's 1:33 long and starts inexplicably in the middle of the guitar solos on YNG. I'm hoping that it's just an error, and not somehow footage missing from the main file that should already be there.

For those who missed it, Linda's Live in Hollywood concert is showing again on PBS tonight around 8:00, at least here in Chicago.

No further encores in the Los Angeles area; besides, it had encored just a few weeks ago here. Of course, it doesn't hurt if it airs again, does it? (he asked rhetorically)

I hope this comes to Netflix or better still on BluRay / DVD for purchase, especially for those (like me!) outside of the US who can't view it on PBS ....

It was not on our area's PBS but there was a Peggy Lee station special fundraiser so I got to watch and learn info on her which was interesting. I remember one of us was commenting on how a song seems well done (for lack of better way to say) and then you hear Linda's version and the others' version just seem to lack something that Linda brought out. I heard a brief clip of Ms. Lee's "Skylark" and in those few moments I realized how much better (including arrangement and instrumentation) Linda's version is, imo. eddiejinnj

Sean, I haven't watched the downloaded video yet, but I can say that Heatwave and Lies were included in the concert broadcast last night, even though they are not on the album.
Video of the PBS broadcast was really good, but the bit I caught last night -- commitments kept me from rewatching the whole thing -- had a few video jumps during Lies toward the end of the song, and the video quality of that song was not up to the level of the rest of the show. Having watched the original broadcast on PBS, I can say, with some surprise, that Lies was not included in that broadcast, Heatwave being the only song in the show not on the album.
All of which leads me to believe that the broadcast last night may have been either all of the original HBO concert or, at least, an expanded version from the original PBS showing a month or so ago.
Anyone else?

Kinda on an island at home with the family in regards to my admiration of Linda and her music. I would enjoy meeting some fellow enthusiasts to have a couple of cocktails and talk about Linda and her music. Perhaps at a local watering hole, anybody interested in something like that? A Chicago Chapter meet and greet? or have i stepped over into the weird and creepy ..LOL

The CD sound quality is excellent. The audios are linked by audience cheers and applause, giving an almost seamless continuous performance. Linda's band members introduction is put on the end.
Those omitted songs are not her best performances of them. Notable omissions are mostly "Mad Love" and "Get Closer" songs.
Did the PBS broadcast show the extra couple after "Desperado"?

Not when I saw it they didn't. And this is, I think, why the whole thing needs to be put out there on DVD, and possibly a 2-CD release, for her fan base.

Did the PBS broadcast show the extra couple after "Desperado"? Hi, heartbreaker — I miss “Look Out for My Love.” It was silly not to release the full concert. Do you have a PBS station where you live? Here in Southern California, it was shown and repeated several times. Of course, I bought the premium in order to get a copy of the concert as it was shown on PBS for my own use. You might do a Google search to see if any U.S. PBS stations are offering the concert for a donation.

My mistake, the bows came after "Livin' In the USA". Linda & co. then did "Heat Wave" and "Desperado". A complete set of the whole concert on DVD/Blu Ray & the CD would be very cool. Money waiting.

Did anyone actually get the PBS “remastered” DVD of the Live in Hollywood / Mad Love show?
I couldn’t get it in the UK but would be interested if anyone has one to sell.

I did not know it was ever released on DVD. I thought it was available only as a digital download, and if I recall correctly, it was not the complete program as it originally aired on HBO.

It wasn't officially released. However, I believe when it aired on PBS if you pledged a certain amount you received a copy. I could be wrong.

It wasn't officially released. However, I believe when it aired on PBS if you pledged a certain amount you received a copy. I could be wrong. $96 is for a year's membership to PBS; for that you get the digital download of the concert. That's what I did. I realized that I pay for other streaming services (HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Start) but don't for public television, even though I watch it a lot. Been meaning to become a member but never got around to it, until last night. (Much of PBS's programming—especially their back catalog—is only available to members, although current programs/shows/episodes are available to all for a limited time frame.) It was so much fun watching that concert on broadcast TV. She was so emotive and spunky and darling and, of course, that voice just slayed me. I couldn't help falling for her all over again. And yes, I did miss Party Girl, but I can't say the same about Mad Love and Cost of Love. I don't think those two were especially good performances, with Linda stomping on the vocal gas too hard and too often, in the process shredding her voice to the point where it makes me wince to hear it. And she's done I Can't Help it countless times better than she does here; perhaps it's the arrangement. This version of Silver Threads, however, is the very definition of country-rock. Smoking hot. As stated farther up in this thread, it was not released on DVD. I pledged the amount to PBS in order to get the download mailed to me. The version in the download had more songs than was shown on PBS, and more than what is on the abridged "Live in Hollywood" CD. It was a missed opportunity not to release the whole concert on DVD. As I said earlier in this thread, I missed the fact that "Look Out for My Love" was NOT included in the airing on PBS OR among the longer version (but not the complete version) that was a part of the digital download. We may never see a DVD release. Perhaps it will wind up on a streaming service someday but I wonder which version it might be.
