Which ones are you suggesting should be dead or retired already?

Which ones are you suggesting should be dead or retired already? None. But I am amazed some are still alive from the way they look & their life history.

Quote by heartbreaker:
Certainly one must wonder how Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are still standing at all, let alone moving back and forth onstage after all those years of self-abuse. Sometimes it's hard to believe that they aren't the Rolling Tombstones (LOL).

If the Michael J. Fox Foundation is funding it, Linda will know about it. She's said in several interviews that she's been in touch with Michael. I expect that she's well informed on all possible treatments. Whether she'd be interested in becoming "a subject in the trials" is a separate issue.

There are Parkinson's medications that are not so effective with PSP, I hope the new one does work.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that they aren't the Rolling Tombstones (LOL). I have sometimes joked that the way Keith looks, he actually died decades ago but no one bothered to tell him. And he's having the time of his life! Keith has been through a hell of a lot and by all rights, he shouldn't even be alive. But, he is and I hope he keeps on going for a hundred years more. He's an amazing fellow. And great guitarist.

There are Parkinson's medications that are not so effective with PSP, I hope the new one does work. If Linda is taking medication for her Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, I hope it helps her. From what I know of medications however (having worked inside pharmacies), any medications will only manage Linda's illness but not cure it. And it may have other side effects that would effect Linda's life, possibly which would be a threat to her life. The money is in managing but not curing the illness. I don't know how much the managing of Linda's illness will add to her life. whether it would be by a year or 20 years, depending on Linda's other health issues.

Linda's symptoms appear to be more consistent with PD. On what basis after a number of years, did they determine her condition is PSP instead?

My post about the new very promising medication for PD and likely PSP currently in trials, by Anavex Life Sciences, appears to have been deleted from this board. Any explanation?

There is a sad thing I have noticed. In looking for a hopefully genuine autograph to buy, Linda's book, as signed by her, very obviously shows how awkward and probably painful it was for her, from her writing, especially compared to earlier autographs of hers.

Most unfortunate, indeed. Linda personally autographed my book backstage before the 92Y appearance back in September 2013. She told me at that time that she could barely write. I still feel guilty about asking her to sign the book, but she even included a nice message.

We could have met that night, Pop. My better half and I were there and where I gave her a Peace sign pendant. I met Mark I. that night. I introduced myself.

Eddie--If you decide to try the Mexican restaurant Playa Betty's that has Linda's photo, let me know. I can meet you there for dinner!

My autographed book was signed with an almost dried-up pen. I can see "L" & "R" followed by squiggles. I guess Linda must have been tired & in pain, she has said the tour was draining so I am not surprised.
I might get a certificated authentic earlier year autographed item next.
