Thank you so much, ausfan2, for putting this together. You must be exhausted!
It was great for me personally since I now now the exact date when I fell in love with Linda: March 14, 1974.
I was babysitting my cousin and watched Kirchner's Rock Concert that night to see the Eagles. Instead, I was completely mesmerized and smitten by this woman named Linda Ronstadt.
Next day I took my babysitting money and bought Don't Cry Now and wore the f'ing grooves out of that record, and haven't been the same since.

On YT, there is an early sitdown chat with Linda where she is asked what a Stone Poney is, and she replies cheekily she would get in trouble with the (TV) network if she explained.
Any help please!

I vaguely remember that Henry Mancini had a short-lived TV program. This came up in today's feed -- Linda among guests on Henry Mancini programThe Mancini Generation 1972 Cast Henry Mancini Norm Crosby Bill Dana David Clayton-Thomas Doc Severinsen Henny Youngman Claudine Longet Joel Grey Paul Williams Florence Henderson Diahann Carroll Bob Crane Helen Reddy Pat Boone Linda Ronstadt Morey Amsterdam Ed Ames Mel Tormé Synopsis Weekly music variety show hosted by Henry Mancini, which in great part focused on his own music, frequently performed by his 36-piece band. Each episode featured two guest performers: either two singers, or a singer and a comic. Each episode featured one band performance heard over a montage of the band members in Southern California locations, including Knott's Berry Farm, Lion Country Safari and Busch Gardens. Each episode also featured a "Film Spot," wherein a different short instrumental Mancini theme was sent to film students in 26 different U.S. universities and colleges, whereupon each set of students crafted a short film inspired by -- and set against -- their particular theme.

I never knew that Mancini had a television series. I was like 9 when the series was on. Welcome to the forum, Jim!!! Without assumption, are you a fan of Linda's and when did you become one? eddiejinnj
PS: I went to Henry Mancini.com and I didn't see any of the series vids but there is a lot of info on him out there.

Anybody know where you can watch or get a video copy of this or other episodes of this series? Thanks. The only option I could find is to add it to the Watchlist if it ever becomes available. www.imdb.com/title/tt27251672/?ref_=ttep_ep15
