That touched up photo is disturbing to me for some reason.

funniest photo: Why did Linda look like she didn't want to be in that limo? The guy with the cigarette hanging out of his mouth looked kind of scary. Linda didn't like to be around cigarette smoke and I wonder if she would've asked the guy to please refrain from smoking? Linda Ronstadt, Jack Nicholson, and Carl Bernstein a writer and reporter. “All the President's Men”—with Bob Woodward (1974), the two did the majority of the reporting on the Watergate scandal.

Never saw that picture either, but her expression is classic. It's a "What the Hell?" type of look.

Oddly, she even has an "Asian" look about her in that photo.

Never saw that picture either, but her expression is classic. It's a "What the Hell?" type of look. I was thinking the same thing. She has this puzzled look on her face. And also, I have seen her wearing that sweater dress before too. She is wearing it on the cover of the biography from 1990......and also a couple other photos from the cover shoot. She looks so cute in that photo.

So much has been said about Linda's weight gain in recent years. Most of it, if not all of it, has been unfair and just downright cruel! People just don't understand the problems Linda has had and they're so quick to judge. But I think she looks fabulous for her age! So many of her contemporaries look so old and wrinkled up; and some have had plastic surgery to make them look younger. But to be honest it actually makes them look worse. Linda on the other hand doesn't do anything and she still looks so youthful......and without hardly any makeup! People talk about her weight.......so what? Look at her face, her skin. She still has those gorgeous eyes and cute lips.......and when she smiles it's still like magic! So beautiful! Here are a few of my favorite recent pics of Linda: from 2009, when she spoke before Congress for Arts Advocacy Day From 2011, when she was awarded a Latin Grammy And the most recent photo of her from Grace Cathedral in San Francisco on February 10

I think she looks great. She avoided those vain pitfalls that do nothing but keep us unsure of who we are. To think she is going to be seventy in three years. Where have the years gone?

she has the shape face that ages well plus overall considering others "rockers'" lifestyles, she never got into that too much. she seems to have always been a person about balance though at times I know she hasn't always felt that way. she will always have those gorgeous eyes j. carson loved so much. eddiejinnj

Linda, to me, has always been a natural beauty. And agree she looks great today! Hard to imagine she'll be 67 this year (same age my mom will be this year too). Doesn't look it.

She has had some difficult years in there but she does look really good now and hopefully won't ruin things with plastic surgery. Let's hope she takes after her mom on that one.

Are there any photos of Linda's Mad Love 1980 (April) at the Forum in Los Angeles. If I recall she had on a pair of peddle pushers Didn't she do like a dozen shows in a row there, all sold out? Wouldn't she have changed outfits for each show? Or maybe that was a different tour?

Quote by ronstadtfanaz:
I think that 12-show sellout was in the early fall of 1977, when she sold out twelve straight nights at the Universal Amphitheater, a record for that venue that is not likely to ever be broken (IMHO).

I don't remember how many concerts in a row she performed at the forum in april of 1980. It may have been a few. Not yet seen photos of the outfit she wore on stage that night, which were pink or red peddle pushers.. I was a young tween!!!

I never saw that special. I must have watch this vid on youtube but maybe I didn't since it is a song that I would prob not play much on youtube since it is quote one of her more known songs. I like to watch the more unusual songs on youtube. does anybody have a link to this vid. I would like to see them introduced etc? thanks!!! eddiejinnj

Thanks for the photos from the Ames, Iowa concert. I was there! Fantastic show. I kept the rave review from the Des Moines Register but have since lost it. I do recall the writer saying that Linda's voice filled every crack and crevice during the Desperado encore.
And you can't tell from the photo because it's blocked by someone's head, but Linda had a red bow clipped to the stocking on her left thigh. Very sexy.

Just for comparison's sake here: Linda in 1968: ...and her much younger spiritual protege Caitlin Rose in a similar outfit, from 2010: Coincidence? Given Caitlin's unbridled admiration for Linda, I think not.

Those are awesome! Oh, to have a time machine and see these shows/concerts! My wish is to have seen the Mad Love and Get Closer tours especially. Why, oh why, was I not a fan back then? I am kicking myself now...

I sympathize with you! I wish I could have been a fan back then too, though I was quite too young to have seen her then. But I would've loved to see her in the '90s and even in the past ten years. I'm kicking myself too! But maybe things happen for a reason. I think that meeting Linda would more than make up for not seeing her perform for all of those years. Millions of people have seen her live in concert, but how many of those people can say they have actually met Linda in person and talked with her? Not very many by comparison. So I guess we should feel pretty darn lucky that we might have that opportunity to actually meet her when her book comes out. Let's hope.

To even see her live at all would be sooo worth it! But suffice to say, I don't think that will happen, although you and I might get lucky if (and when) she does do a book signing tour! You brought up an interesting note about how many people actually met Linda. I've always wondered if she did meet & greets or gave backstage passes for a few fans to meet her? I know a lot of bands today (or even back then) gave that opportunity to the fans, but I wondered if that included Linda? If so, how lucky for those few to meet and greet the Lovely Linda?!

The reason I like this photo is because, to me, Linda looks lost, alone, uncomfortable, and I just want to go up to her and keep her company. I think this is at the Grammy award show.
