sliderocker I agree with what you said. It's their time, they have supporters. I don't have to listen to it, I also don't have to put it down all the time either. Who's to say that I just don't understand their music, my parents didn't get some of mine. They also didn't put them down to prove their point, (my parents both loved Ronstadt after growing to through me). Today there are still plenty of young artists that are talented and can move me as much as anyone from our day. The record business is nothing like it used to be. Even a huge artist today is extra lucky to go platinum. Adele would have sold much more than she has of 21 if the record company operated as it did back in the day. I have to dig a little deeper today for substance, but when I have, I find some.
