I think Angelinos would like to see just Trisha herself in concert. It would be curious, though, to inquire as to whether Trisha, when she was in town in February for the MusicCares salute to Dolly, got a chance to meet up with Linda backstage (??).
And it is reported that this new album of Trisha's, which could conceivably be released before the end of the year, will have the Karla Bonoff-penned song "Home" (which she wrote in 1975, and first got recorded by Bonnie Raitt) on it. This could be an homage of sorts to Linda, whom, as we know, recorded more than a few of Karla's songs in her time (though not "Home").

It would have been perfect for her. Perhaps Karla promised a song to Bonnie and that was it. |
