Not sure why she did that since it was a concert in December in NJ (not warm here then). I know Jimmy Buffet changes lyrics sometimes depending on where he is or weather etc.to ingratiate himself with the locals at the venue but this case with Linda does not make sense. That aside it is a stunning version with the sound very good considering video is so screwed up. eddiejinnj
PS: The writer first says that Linda recorded Desperado for Heart Like a Wheel but then was corrected in the text of the article. How the person didn't self edit that info I don't know but at least the magazine's general editor should have caught that. IMO, it is a big factual error.

I also always wondered why when she sang "Blue Bayou" live, she reversed the order of "Gonna see my baby again/gonna be with some of my friends" (Hollywood Live album, Atlanta 1977). Roy Orbison sang it same order as Linda's studio version.
