Not sure if this is a compliment or not? What is everybody's take? There seems to be a lack of clear definition (paraphrasing an entry in Cambridge Dictionary site). eddiejinfl

Eddie, the person behind this Instagram account worships and adores Linda, and Emmylou, and Dolly, and Kate and Anna, etc. I do not think this is negative at all.
That said, there certainly are plenty of times people on this Forum have said nasty things about Linda. This isn’t that.

Quote by rick:
Yes, I've seen infinitely worse things said about Linda on a lot of other places on the Internet, including YouTube, as I wager others here have as well. This is just for the hell of it; and Linda definitely looks quite animated (IMHO).

It is not a matter of being comparative to what others have said, whether worse or not. Without some context, the post for me is very confusing after my initial reaction of whaaat lol!!!! Life is perception!!!!! eddiejinfl

The reason for the pigs on the cover of her second solo album has to do with the name of the album Silk Purse. The phrase "You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear" is where the concept of the cover came from. Not sure why they chose that name to begin with. But that is how the pigs came about. I am thinking Tony has that article explaining it in the Ronstadt website archives.

Evidently Linda chose the pigpen concept because she likes pigs (and most animals in general) and it was in keeping with her somewhat country image (DaisyMayish). Then came what to name it. It may not have had the same effect if they showed Linda holding a silk purse instead of all those pigs. I never thought much about pigs before until Green Acres and Arnold. I kind of liked them after that. I had friends in college (early 70's) who just loved that slick purse album lol. After a while I stopped correcting them.

My grandmother had a pet pig on the farm in Monmouth County, NJ. They are clean and nice but big pet. Eddiejinfl
