Linda is selling amazingly well on Amazon since her interview on CBS Sunday Morning.
Live in Hollywood #1 CD/Vinyl Greatest Hits Vol One and Two #1 Vocal Pop Duets #85 CD/Vinyl and #2 singers/songwriters pop Just One Look Collection #53 CD/Vinyl and #2 Vocal Pop Singer/Songwriters Canciones De Mi Padre #1 Latin and #211 CD/Vinyl The Ulitmate Trio Collection is #58 CD/Vinyl and #5 CD/Vinyl Country
...to name a few.
Looking forward to Billboard this Friday to see if she is charting. Hopefully, this will give her more radio play and not just the usual "Somewhere Out There" "Don't Know Much" and "Blue Bayou" "Different Drum" "Long Long Time".

I too would like to see what happens in this respect. There's also the downloads to consider, as germancanadian said in another thread here, and those will go a long way to determine how Live In Hollywood does in its first week on the chart.

This ought to prompt John Boylan and Linda to continue in this effort. They need to get an OFFICIAL video of this concert out there and then work on more high quality videos i.e. Canciones de mi Padre, Nelson Riddle What's New video, the famous German Concert video, etc. Listening to Linda sing is one thing but it is at a much higher level watching her sing. Visually Linda is mesmerizing.

A few times in interviews, Linda mentioned listening to tapes of her shows immediately after to study what went well and what didn't--does anyone know if these were "live from the mixing board" tapes? Could that be a possible source for future live albums of entire shows? My vote would be for Atlanta 1977 (and a DVD if only to see Linda help Waddy re-attach his guitar strap).

That's Awesome. I saw her C.D. at Walmart today.. I'm hoping for more. There's still a lot of songs that were left off.. perhaps deliberately for more releases!

We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose. I'm just grateful that we have this particular live recording to absorb into our collective memories.
Now, for the chart action.....

As far as I can see it didn't chart on any of the Billboard Charts for February 9, 2019. It should have with it being out a week now. If anyone finds it on Billboard Charts please post it on this thread. I am hoping I've missed it. Doesn't really make sense considering how well it is selling at online outlets.

I looked on Billboard last night and am doing so again this morning; and no, Mike, I don't think you missed it. It isn't on there...yet. But I'll keep looking for it.

Billboard charts that will include last Friday's (February 1st- February 7th) releases are not yet available. Linda should do well -

February 9th Charts are already available and that would be referring to sales from Feb 1st (release date of Live from Hollywood) thru the 7th.

February 1st releases are Not included on the postdated February 9th charts. Linda will appear on the February 16th dated charts(which will appear prior to the 16th). The charts reflect the prior week - which for February 1st releases ended yesterday.

I hope that is true. I would think she would make Billboard Charts considering how well she is selling thru online sources.

Too bad she couldn't get airplay for one of the songs as a single. I haven't listened to much popular music in a couple of decades but some of the songs could be strong in the Country or Easy Listening charts I would think. Considering the fact that women represent just over 23% of charted Hot 100 music it would be a long shot. And on the Country charts it is even less. Much less.
