60th Anni: ‘Day the Music Died’

Last night (Feb. 1) at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles I was at “Live From Here” with Chris Thile. Thile reminded the audience that this Sunday, Feb. 3, will be 60 years since Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper were killed in a plane crash.
Thile paid tribute by singing “Come On Let’s Go.”

Thanks for that Rick. There were a couple of similarly themed events on the radio including an interview on Coastam by a man that wrote a book of the same name. Even Don McClean got a boost.
