Linda, I'm so sorry to learn of your illness and hope this post finds you in good spirits. I have been a fan since the Stone Pony's and only got to see you once, it was back in the early 70's either 71 or 72, you were playing at the university in Boulder, I heard it on the radio and even though I had no money, I left my mountain cabin and went to the university in the snow. I got there and was waiting in the hall trying to get someone to buy me a ticket. a man came out and asked me if I wanted to see the concert and of course I said yes, he let me in, but imagine my disappointment when I saw that there was hardly anyone there. You put on a beautiful show even with the small crowd. I felt for you that there weren't a lot of people there. I left and I will never forget how great you were. I haven't had a change to ever see you again, I spent some time in Tucson, and actually went to your dad's hardware store. My son lives there, and every time I go there I think of you, and that you were my first rock and roll love. John

I find it touching that people who have a connection to Linda post comments here hoping Linda will see their messages. And that people who have been touched by Linda's artistry post here hoping that Linda will find out how much her music/work has meant to them.
