We talked about that when I originally posted it a year or two ago. It was the only non-audio video available but at least the background voice was there. Plus it shows it is a song you can dance to. That is why I posted the full album as well which has the song in all its glory. I am glad you were paying attention. I knew someone would mention it and was counting the hours lol. I do have to say that the stand in voice is very good sans the accent. Not Linda but still good.

Thanks a bunch for the Mike D. Interview. I personally don't think Linda was being a smart-ass I just think she was a bit put out over the shoe thing. I imagine she has been asked that a gazillion times and thinks "like dude-you do realize there is more to me than footwear (or the lack thereof)" I also was surprised at her kind of conservative (please hold the hate mail) attitude. And by that I mean not Paul Ryan conservative but reasonable and thoughtful-not a rhetorical bomb thrower. I can say this: she had her shit together a lot better than I did at her age (I guess she was about 24 there). It was a joy watching her agile mind outrun her mouth. You can really feel her blazing intellect. I actually found her interview a bit uncomfortable to watch. She's clearly really bright but kind of the queen of the non sequitur here as her mind scampers down different corridors. I kind of felt sorry for Mike Douglas.

Linda is very conservative in many ways just not some in others. She seems to really admire agrarian societies and things like adobe housing and preserving the integrity of old Tuscon. She also while probably being fun at times is also very comfortable being alone and knitting vs drinking with the guys etc. She not a risky person at least with her advice to others re: gambling; warning people not to gamble their mortgages away, etc. Being such a real commonsensical kind of person that sang like an angel, was into her art and helping others' with theirs are some of the reasons I am still a fan after 42 years and writing this. eddiejinfl
