On Tuesday night's (November 24) episode of "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," Carly Simon was on to promote her new autobiography "Boys in the Trees" and the companion two-CD set "Songs in the Trees." Here she duets with Colbert on "Mockingbird" --

I love Carly but her voice sounds a bit shot here. I know it was unplanned but .... Fab, yeah, I agree, but I think as hesitant as she was, she did seem to really go for it at a point (and then she sang the wrong lyrics toward the end) but I still thought it was fun.

Both James and Carly are so much more animated than I remember them. Looks like Waddy Wachtel is in the band.
