Rolling Stone's List of 20 R&B Albums from the 1970s That May Not Be So Familiar Some of these albums are familiar to me -- most notably "Touch" by The Supremes with the post-Diana Ross lineup of Jean Terrell, Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong. The "hit" off of "Touch" was "Nathan Jones," which was later remade by Bananarama and a hit for them in the 1980s. Here is The Supremes' version of "Nathan Jones" from "Touch" -- A fan favorite off of "Touch" was the title song -- As the article states, when Holland-Dozier-Holland left Motown The Four Tops (and Diana Ross and The Supremes) lost the songwriting team responsible for their early- to mid-'60s hits.
