I really like his music.I know he now goes by yusuf islam..and was recently inducted in the Rock n Roll Hall o Hame. what is so funny to me, when I see his old videos he totally reminds me of what Jesus looked or looks like. Never got that vibe from anybody else, and he isn't a Christian what makes it all too funny to me. Maybe I should have put this in the war room due to the on going controversy of what Christ really looked like. european, middle eastern or black ect.. I'm sure there are many Linda and Cat Steven fans who will enjoy this video as they were very popular around the same time.

I'm sure there are many Linda and Cat Steven fans who will enjoy this video as they were very popular around the same time. I like Cat's music as well and thought it was a shame when he got blacklisted because of being asked about the death sentence placed on Salman Rushdie by Muslim clerics and then being barred from the US in the wake of 9/11. Even though he came to the US in support of the US and the people who lost their loved ones in the attack and was the first performer to perform at a charity concert, the Bush-Cheney war criminals barred him from entering the US by using a thin, lame excuse that his name was on the (enemies) watch list. The enemies were anyone who were opposed to Bush and Cheney and their agenda. I don't recall anyone booing Stevens at that concert. He was one of many Muslims who disavowed the 9/11 attacks and other attacks by the extremists as an affront to the Islamic religion. But, as happens with all people who have prejudices and hatred of others to begin with, just because they are different, they were equally as guilty as the 9/11 terrorists. The same is true for the ISIS terrorists - all Muslims are guilty for the actions of a few. But, I thought it was wrong to ban Cat's music because his music had nothing to do with the attacks, and none of his music called for a war or to kill others in the name of Islam.
