Does any of Linda's solo work contain songs with either Harmonica or Accordion? If so, which songs?

"Talk To Me Of Mendocino" has accordian played by Lindsey Buckingham. :Love Is A Rose" may have harmonica - I would need to check for sure and "Across the Border" may also have harmonica played by Neil Young - I would have to check that also.

Immediately springing to mind was the Don't Cry Now album, which begins with harmonica on the song I Can Almost See It.

And on the Linda Ronstadt album, I can hear harmonica on Ramblin' 'Round, one of my favorites on the album.

There's also the harmonica on "Nobodys" from Silk Purse, which was likely Nashville session legend Charlie McCoy.

Re. "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight"--I don't recall any harmonic on there. Fiddle, yes (courtesy of the late Doug Dillard). Harmonica, no.

I believe there may be accordion on some of the Mexican music. Did Linda recently speak of the accordion in some of her music during an interview?

Jimmy Fadden plays harmonica on the album HLAW. I can't think of which song at the moment.

I am quite sure there is an accordian on "I can't get over you" on the Adieu False Heart album. It would be cheating to actually look at the liner notes LOL. A quick aside I think this is the album where Linda said she had a "diminished voice". Any other singer would give anything for such a diminished voice. She sounds perfect as usual.

Linda said she did her best singing after 50 (which would be '96 on). Wonder when she exactly felt differently. I guess it is around "adieu false heart." we saw her after that live and she was in great voice. the only time I would say she was "shouting" (shouting is her term. I would call it over belting) and it basically is the same note in only one song "day dream" from 2004 which I have mentioned before. she sounded great up to the 2010 recordings of webb's "all I know" and the chieftain's song (just played that one last night after awhile not hearing it). eddiejinnj
